Metro Jaya Police Chief Inaugurates Kampung Tangguh Assisted by Battalion D Pioneer of Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya

BEKASI REGENCY, (Indonesia), OMIKAMI-TV - Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Pol DR Fadil Imran, M.Si inaugurated Kampung Tangguh assisted by Battalion D Pioneers of Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday (04/17/2021).

The inauguration of Kampung Tangguh was conducted directly by the Police Chief of Metro Jaya witnessed by Dansat Brimob Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Gatot Mangkurat, SIK, Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Hendra Gunawan, S.IK, Danyon D Pioneer of Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Budi Prasetya, S.IK, Chairman of the Indonesian Cyber Media Union (SMSI) representative of Bekasi Raya Doni Ardon, Head of Cikarang Central Police Kompol Zaini Abdillah, S.I.K. , Head of Cikarang Central Suwarto, Head of Hegarmukti Village Ajo Subarjo and volunteers of Kampung Tangguh assisted by Yon D Pioneer of Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya.

"Battalion D Pioneer Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya encourages the community to be able to improve the economy and food during the pandemic. Even the means of handling Covid-19 we prepared," said Danyon D Pioneer of Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Budi Prasetya, S.IK in his presentation before the Police Chief.

According to him, Battalion D Pioneers used land in Mako and vacant land in the tourist area Situ Rawabinong for the cultivation of Red Ginger, Kangkung, Chili and fish ponds.

"The goal is to meet people's food needs during the pandemic here," he said.

In this Kampung Tangguh program, Battalion D Pioneer also provides a place of self-isolation for residents exposed to Covid-19. 

"So positive citizens can be monitored directly and secured in isolation so that there is no cluster spread of Covid-19," he said.

In a press conference, Police Chief of Metro Jaya Irjen Polisi Fadil Imran said his presence in Hegarmukti Village to see directly Kampung Tangguh Binaan Battalion D Pioneers Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya as well as inaugurate it.

"The inauguration of Kampung Tangguh aims to form a resilient and independent environment in preventing and breaking the chain of Spread of Covid-19. The point of Kampung Tangguh Jaya was established as an effort to accelerate the handling of Covid-19 independently in order to be able to anticipate and overcome various problems, one of which is to reduce the level of spread of Covid-19," said the Police Chief.

In particular, he expressed his gratitude for the concern of concerned citizens in the government's efforts to reduce the number of Covid-19 spread in Hegarmukti Village.

"Thank you Mr. Dansat, Mr. Chief of Police, Pak Danyon, Chief of Police, Camat, Babinsa, Pak Lurah and Kang Doni Ardon who have helped the government suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus," he said.

On that occasion, the Police Chief and his entourage also reviewed several facilities in Kampung Tangguh Binaan Yon D Pioneer Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya, including health service rooms, red ginger cultivation, kale, chili, yams and fish ponds that are one of the community food security, volunteer teams, volunteer main posts, and self-quarantine houses and therapy rooms.

"This is an example for other villages to always care about their citizens and shoulder to shoulder to realize a clean environment and free from the current outbreak," said the Police Chief.

In the same place, Chairman of SMSI Bekasi Raya Doni Ardon and Director bumdesa Hegarmukti acknowledged the existence of Kampung Tangguh initiated by Battalion D Pioneers Satbrimob Polda Metro Jaya proved to suppress the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

"Early in 2021, RW 12 Hegarmukti Village is among the high cases of COVID-19 transmission and falls into the red zone category with exposed residents reaching 21 people," he said.
