
SERANG, BANTEN (Indonesia), OMIKAMI-TV – Road construction and MCK development assistance provided by the Indonesian Cyber Media Union (SMSI) to the residents of Jaha Village, Pagar Agung Village, Walantaka District, Serang City, made the residents feel happy.
Hasanah, one of the local residents admitted that nowadays his village looks neater and cleaner. "Since the construction of this road, our village has become neat and clean. Going through is also delicious and comfortable," he said when met by reporters, Sunday (02/06).
During this time, Hasanah claimed that his village looks rundown because the road between their villages is still rough, in the form of irregular dirt roads. "The road is bad, if it rains the road is dirty and slippery."
Hasanah claimed to often use a motorcycle across the village road if there is a need to go to a friend's house. "In the past, especially when it rained if you want to see must be careful not to slip. The road is also dirty so you have to slow down so that the beceknya not ngotori pants."
Hasanah said he was very grateful that their village was cared for and helped. "If this is the case, our village will be clean," he said.
The same thing was also conveyed by Markani, a local resident. He said that he was very grateful that on National Press Day (HPN) 2021, SMSI helped the residents with social service programs in the form of the construction of their village road sections were also built. "It's quite a good road, it's not dirty, it's not slippery because it's paved."
According to Markani, his village used to look dirty and rundown because of the poor road conditions. "This road will be the main road crossing the residents. In the past, if it rained, it would have been smooth and slippery, so if you want to pass, you have to be careful so that it doesn't get dirty," he said.
Therefore, Markani claimed to be very grateful for the assistance of road construction program from SMSI.
"It used to look rundown, now it's good. Thank you for helping us," he said.
As is known, the HPN event in 2021 has its own nuances compared to previous years. Moreover, it took place in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year's SMSI is the first HPN event for cyber media company organizations after officially becoming a constituent of the Press Council.
SMSI consisting of 1,224 cyber media companies commemorated HPN 2021, one of which is by conducting social service activities that include the construction of roads and sanitation facilities Mandi Cuci Kakus (MCK). The road built is a new road with a length of 750 meters and a width of 2.5 meters.
The implementation of the social project development was handled by SMSI Pusat and also SMSI Banten Province which is closest to the location of the project and fully supported by PT Dwi Ratna Putra.
In addition to road construction, SMSI in the same location also temporarily built 16 mck units.
These two social projects are also monuments to the history of SMSI which was established on March 7, 2017.
Three years running on May 29, 2020, SMSI was officially appointed as a constituent of the Press Council with a decree of the Press Council No. 22/SK-DP/V/2020 signed by Chairman of the Press Council Mohammad Nuh, May 29, 2020.
